Wadena student honored with World Citizen Award

Minnesota State Community and Technical College student Thomas Harthan is one of 20 students statewide who has been awarded the Mark M. Welter World Citizen Award.

The $500 World Citizen Award scholarships are awarded annually to 20 students who attend colleges within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System by the MnSCU Foundation. Each school within MnSCU may nominate one student who best exemplifies the thoughts, words and actions required of a 21st century world citizen.
