Description: Meets MnTC Goal Area 6F. Through this course, students are introduced to basic three-dimensional concepts as well as a variety of materials and technical processes. Students will create three-dimensional designs that explore form and space.

  1. Apply the elements of form and space in solving design problems.
  2. Attain proficiency in using a variety of three-dimensional media.
  3. Use basic design vocabulary effectively.
  4. Demonstrate technical skill in producing well-crafted designs.
  5. Apply the creative process to develop design solutions.
  6. Apply the principles of 3D design to design problems.
  7. Experience a variety of work in contemporary and historical 3D design.
  8. Discuss and critique art work.
  9. Use different tools and techniques to create 3D art forms.
