Tracy Morstad joined the M State nursing faculty in 1988 and taught in the Practical Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing programs prior to being named the college’s director of nursing.
Her nursing experience includes one year in medical/surgical, five years in intensive acute care, 10 years in hemodialysis and five years in hospital supervision. Her research and thesis was entitled “The Relationship Between Student Nurses’ Personal Spiritual Well-being And Their Perception of Their Role As A Spiritual Care Provider.”
Morstad earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University and her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in community-based nursing from University of Mary.
She enjoys golfing, gardening and vacationing by the ocean.
