Registration Day

All new students at M State are required to attend a registration event where you will meet current staff, faculty and students, become familiar with the resources available on campus and register for courses.

Who should attend?

All new students who have received an acceptance letter to the college, would like to register for classes for the upcoming semester and have completed the Registration Day RSVP form below.

What will I do at the registration session?

You will receive important information about M State, the Wadena campus, academic programs, Learning Center services, advising services, financial aid and student activities. You will meet with faculty and staff members who can answers questions regarding which classes to take, degree requirements and what it takes to be a successful college students. You will finish the day by registering for your classes.

How long will I be on campus for registration?

Plan to spend two to four hours on campus and arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. Please complete the Online Orientation prior to attending a registration event; this will shorten the time you spend on campus. You can log in to your SpartanNet account to complete the online orientation at www.minnesota.edu/spartannet.

Can I take my assessment test on Registration Day?

No, you will want to complete your Accuplacer assessment testing prior to the registration event. We will use these results to help determine your class schedule. To sign up to take the Accuplacer assessment, please visit www.minnesota.edu/assessment.
