Show Apartment

Due to COVID-19, M State has suspended the Show Apartment program to ensure the safety of M State students, employees, community members and guests. The Office of Housing and Residential Life will resume the Show Apartment program once it is determined that it is safe to do so.

Show apartments allow M State to show prospective residents what living in the residence hall could be like. It is helpful to be able to show an occupied apartment. Therefore, M State Office of Housing and Residential Life offers interested residents in Williams Hillside Village and College Manor the opportunity to earn a housing fee reduction by participating in the Show Apartment program.

All occupants of a unit must agree to abide by the show apartment contract. If all agree, then apply as an apartment for this opportunity to earn some "passive" income.

Responsibilities

  • Allow M State officials and staff to "show" your apartment to prospective residents during tours
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming living space that is always ready for showing
  • Demonstrate a commitment to M State's Office of Housing and Residential Life values in the delivery of exceptional services to residence hall occupants
  • Practice courtesy and extend a sincere welcome to prospective residents should you be present during a tour
    • Offer your perspective based on your experience with living in the residence hall if asked

Compensation

  • $50 housing fee reduction per month of the contract.

Time commitment
