M State’s Business degree provides a well-rounded education that will put you on the path to a business career or four-year business degree.
M State's AS in Business is a flexible degree designed both for students who intend to enter the workforce after graduation and for those who plan to continue their education at a college or university.
The 60-credit degree is offered on our Fergus Falls and Moorhead campuses and through eCampus. It includes 30 credits in general education and 30 technical credits, with an emphasis on contemporary business practices through coursework in management, marketing, economics, accounting, technology and communication.
This degree articulates to the BS in Business Administration and the BS in Project Management at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

M State's Business program has an articulation agreement with Minnesota State University Moorhead, University of Mary and University of Minnesota, Crookston . Graduates from M State's program can transfer seamlessly into MSUM's bachelor degree program's in Business Administration and Project Management, University of Mary's Business: Management Concentration and UMC's Business Management BS.
Articulation agreements ensure that students completing specified coursework or degree programs at M State will transfer into designated programs at partner universities/colleges per the terms of the agreement. This cooperative effort eliminates or minimizes the questions and confusion that sometimes accompany transfer and allows our students to be confident that their degree from M State will satisfy a substantive portion of the completion requirements for the bachelor's degree at the university/college they will be attending.
