Prepare for a leadership role within your company or hone your skills to become a more effective leader in this certificate program that’s offered simultaneously on M State’s four campuses.
This certificate program provides a knowledge base of the practices and principles of leadership, supervision and management to both currently employed team leaders, managers and supervisors and those who are seeking employment or career advancement. Students will gain an understanding of decision-making processes, interpersonal communication skills and human resource practices in successful leadership.
The 18-credit program will take approximately one year to complete because students will attend part time. Courses are offered simultaneously from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays through the telepresence classrooms on all four M State campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena. Portions of the courses also will be taught online.
