M State has three nursing programs:

• Practical Nursing (PN)
• Associate Degree Registered Nursing (Generic)
• Associate Degree Registered Nursing for currently licensed Practical Nurses (LPN to RN Mobility Option).

All three require an admissions exam. Be sure to sign up for the correct exam for the program you want.

The Nursing Acceleration Challenge Exam (NACE I): Foundations of Nursing, offered through the National League for Nursing, will be the primary criteria for admission to the M State Associate Degree (RN Mobility) Nursing Program for Fall 2012-Spring 2013. Refer to the NACE I Frequently Asked Questions below.

NACE I Registration:

To view test dates and register for the NACE I exam, visit the NLN site and click "Register." You will need to create an account with NLN; you will then be allowed to register for a test date. NLN adds updated test dates to the site regularly.

Read the Admission Requirements for Associate Degree (RN Mobility) Nursing prior to completing the online Mobility Nursing application.

The National League for Nursing Pre-Admission Examination (NLN PAX) will be the primary criteria for admission to the M State Practical Nursing and Associate Degree (RN Generic) Nursing programs for Fall 2012-Summer 2013. Refer to the PAX Frequently Asked Questions below.

The deadline has been extended for the Practical Nursing Summer 2012 Program for the Moorhead campus. Applications are due February 13, 2012. Print and complete the following application and send to M State Processing Center PO Box 309 Perham, MN 56573.
