Criminal Justice students complete Minnesota skills training

Students in M State’s Criminal Justice program completed law enforcement skills training in Alexandria on July 10, marking an important milestone in their preparation for careers in public safety.

The training included classroom instruction and hands-on practice in emergency vehicle operations, handcuffing techniques, firearms proficiency, use of pepper spray and tasers, and other essential law enforcement skills. Completion of the training is required before graduates can pursue employment as licensed peace officers in Minnesota.

"We want to congratulate our students on successfully completing their skills training and wish them well in their future careers," said Jeff Nelson, M State Criminal Justice program coordinator and faculty member.
