M State Foundation and Alumni recently held its annual fall scholarship celebrations, honoring M State student achievement with 125 scholarships totaling $116,665.

Scholarship recipients, donors and M State faculty and staff came together on the Detroit Lakes, Moorhead and Wadena campuses for community-centered events that celebrated both student success and donor generosity. These gatherings provided students and scholarship donors with meaningful opportunities to meet, connect and share in the joy of educational advancement. 

“These events highlighted the impact of philanthropy on our students,” says Shannon Britten, the foundation’s associate director of advancement and development. “Behind every scholarship is a donor who believes in the potential of our students, and a student who feels seen, supported and encouraged to keep going. We extend our sincere gratitude to all donors for their ongoing commitment to student success and congratulate our scholarship recipients on their hard-earned accomplishments.”

M State Foundation and Alumni provides financial support to M State’s Detroit Lakes, Moorhead and Wadena campuses. The college’s Fergus Falls campus is supported by a separate foundation, the Fergus Area College Foundation.
