Support
Support can include academic flexibility, counseling, or other resources to facilitate self-care and healing.

Confidential resources
M State's Counseling Services
- Counselors can meet with you, help you explore your options, or refer you to off-campus therapists
- Counseling Services reports to the Title IX Office only if there is imminent risk or harm to self or others

Anonymous resources
Rape and Abuse Crisis Center (RACC)
- Provides confidential and free crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling, and education
- RACC has no obligation to report to M State's Title IX Office
- Advocates are available 24/7 through RACC's Crisis Line: 800.344.7273
Private resources
Title IX Office
- Coordinates support. Facilitates academic flexibility or accommodations. Implements safety measures
- Helps students understand procedural options and assists those pursuing the M State grievance process.
- Support measures can be put into place without a formal complaint

Reporting
Reporting could include filing a complaint under M State Title IX grievance procedures, reporting to law enforcement, or both.

The Title IX Office provides information about and helps navigate the Title IX process. You may speak to the Title IX Office about your options without disclosing all or any details, including the name of the accused. The next steps can be informal or formal; it is your choice.

To police/law enforcement:
Call 911 to seek help and/or report to law enforcement. Reporting to M State does not report it to law enforcement for criminal proceedings.
- The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center (RACC) advocates are available 24/7 to accompany you to a hospital for an evidence preservation exam and support navigating the law enforcement process (800.344.7273)
