Lorri Matthys

Lorri Matthys, MS, RHIA, has a professional background in health information spanning laboratory services, radiation oncology, mental health and clinical coding. She holds a master’s degree in health information management from the College of St. Scholastica and maintains her registered health information administrator (RHIA) credential through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Her approach to teaching is grounded in persistence, curiosity and lifelong learning, guided by the belief that growth comes from continuing to try, asking questions and building knowledge over time. Outside the classroom, Matthys enjoys reading, working on puzzles, and crafting projects such as scrapbooking, card making and quilling.
