Certified Nursing Assistant CNAM State offers a Certified Nursing Assistant course at each campus location. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) may also be referred to as a nurse aide. Working closely with patients, CNAs are responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming and feeding patients, assisting nurses with medical equipment, and checking patient vital signs.
