Description: This course will provide the student with continued studies of model plumbing code rules and regulations. Topics will include the Minnesota State Plumbing Code and Uniform Plumbing Code.

  1. Identify plumbing drain, waste, and vent requirements.
  2. Identify indirect and special waste requirements.
  3. Design an accurately sized drain, waste, and vent system.
  4. Design an accurately sized potable water system.
  5. Design an accurately sized storm water system.
  6. Identify plumbing trap and cleanout requirements.
  7. Identify plumbing examination and licensing requirements.
  8. Compare model plumbing codes.
  9. Demonstrate safe work habits.
  10. Demonstrate ethical and professional work habits that will be expected in the field.
