PLBG1134 – Advanced Plumbing Blueprints pdf

Description: This course will provide the student with continued studies in blueprint reading. Topics will include specifications, fixture drawings, shop drawings and advanced isometrics.

  1. Identify plumbing abbreviations and symbols.
  2. Analyze sections, elevations, and details found on blueprint drawings.
  3. Break down sections, elevations, and details found on blueprint drawings.
  4. Interpret advanced isometric pipe drawings.
  5. Interpret and apply fixture/shop drawings and directions for installation.
  6. Explain the divisions found in specification books.
  7. Produce an accurate material estimate list from a set of blueprints.
  8. Demonstrate appriopriate knowledge and use of tools used in reading, interpreting, and estimating from blueprints.
  9. Demonstrate safe working habits.
  10. Demonstrate ethical and professional work habits that will be expected in the field.
