Description: This course introduces the student to antepartal, intrapartal and postpartal nursing care for mother and infant. Holistic care and wellness promotion are emphasized. Student will plan nursing care for diverse patients across the lifespan to maintain and promote reproductive wellness to include normal sexuality, fertility and family planning. Student will plan nursing care to maintain and promote wellness for pediatric patients, to include normal growth and development.
Prerequisites: PSYC2222 AND NURS1400 AND NURS1406 AND BIOl2260 AND BIOL2261 AND BIOL2267 AND BIOL2268
