Description:	This course is designed to introduce various models and experiences of interpreting and to prepare for the tasks required for functioning as a professional interpreter. This course includes practical workplace experience by observation of an interpreter at work. Students are expected to observe working interpreters in a variety of field settings.
Prerequisites:	IPP1111 AND Grade of C or better in IPP1111
Corequisites:	(None)
Competencies:	Demonstrate understanding of the business aspects of interpreting. Display the ability to critically analyze the process of a peer's work. Behave in a professional manner, using professional communication strategies. Keep all identifying information confidential.
