Photographer Dan Francis brings a broad range of experience to his position teaching digital photography and imaging at Minnesota State Community and Technical College - Moorhead, where he graduated from the graphic design program in 2003. He has operated his own photography business since 2008, specializing in fine art photography and photo restoration at his downtown Fargo studio. His photography exhibit of past and present-day downtown Fargo was widely viewed during its display in 2010. He is a 2010 Professional Photographers of America silver-level photographer and the 2010 Professional Photographers of North Dakota photographer of the year. He also serves as vice president of the Fargo-Moorhead Camera Club and print chairman for the Northwest Professional Photographers Association. In 2010, he was a finalist for a Bush Foundation artist fellowship. Francis, a Fargo native, lives in Fargo with his wife and child.
