Teaching since: 1999
Education: I graduated from Moorhead Area Technical College in Diesel Technology in 1975.
Additional education: I attended North Dakota State University for mechanical engineering.
Prior work experience: I worked for International Harvester and then Case IH as a technician, shop foreman and service manager 24 years. I also spent time in the parts department at the dealer. I've attended dozens of training schools from IH, Case IH, Case New Holland, Eaton, Deere, Bobcat and Cat & Cummins.
Family: Wife Katie, daughter Emily and husband Nick, daughter Laura and son Nick
Hobbies: My hobbies include hunting pheasants and deer, fishing, metal working and wood working. I enjoy the lake - fishing, sailing, water-skiing - as well as watching football and baseball. I also coached baseball and soccer for several years, and I belong to Clay County Pheasants Forever.
Comments: I became a teacher because I enjoy seeing the students "get it." I want to help them to be confident, knowledgeable professionals who aren't afraid to take on challenges and succeed.
