Disc golf

According to the Professional Disc Golf Association, "The object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc." Disc golf is inexpensive and physically accessible for all ages and athletic ranges and therefore attracts a diverse range of players. Of the more than 3,000 established disc golf courses as of 2010, approximately 87 percent are free. Right outside the door of College Manor is a beautiful "9 hole" Frisbee golf course for our students to enjoy. Groomed by the maintenance department and enjoyed by many, it is a great way to take a walk with new friends! You can start at one of the holes and play on your way to class. Hazel (our resident doe) won't mind sharing her turf with new or experienced golfers.
